It's either an 18 or a 15/18 - the experts will know, but not a 10. 1932 ?

Hello, It’s a 1933/4 Lanchester 18. Not one I have come across before so I have added it to my list. I’ve asked the auctioneer if they would be kind enough to let me have the chassis number. I’ve not come across a Mulliners car with that body style and wonder if it has been converted at some point. What do others think. Ranald

Actually, I've discovered the Lanchester 18 was available in a landaulette. The sales brochure lists the 'Four Window Saloon' at £595. This body had dummy pram irons. For an extra £40 it could be provided with a head which folds back from the rear door pillar; while at an extra cost of £25 a partition could be supplied behind the driver.

The jury is still out on whether this car started life in the standard saloon form or whether it has always been a landaulette. Any thoughts?
Regards, Ranald
