Well done. Where is "near me" (just the county will do).

I suppose the next important stage is to get access and record the chassis, engine and body numbers. Look at planning applications online to see if the site owner can be contacted.

Put a notice on the gate with a name and phone number and a comment that someone can either store it or buy it.

John, I live in Twickenham. The car is about 5 or 6 miles from me.

Update on the black car:
I made contact with the owner today who says it will be moved to his workshop soon to be renovated over the winter months. Perhaps the closure of the land on which it is parked has prompted some action!
It is a late 'C' spec, body number 2460, first registered on 23rd Feb 1964. Registration number as previously posted.
The current owner has owned it since 1985 and used to be a member of the D&LOC until "the turmoil when all the spares were sold off and the club seemed to be taken over by Jaguar XJ6 enthusiasts".
I take it Laurence Jones does not use this forum and so won't see this message?

... so that just leaves the white one and still a chance for Eric Stansfield to buy it.

I'll notify Laurence again.
