Whitworth spanners 1/4 or 5/16 I believe.

If you google viscous fan removal, many Landrover forums will come up where this is discussed in detail. Apart from the spanner, you will need to establish whether your nut is left or right hand thread and a method of jamming the fan while turning the nut. Happy googling!
