Ian

I have put your reply on the forum

I agree that it has a 'Triumph' style opening bonnet as well as the guess about the windscreen

I shall put your obs on the forum and see if anyone can add to it

It does look more like a Sabre than anything else.. Reliant began production.. but production continued in Israel . including a coupe which used the ford zephyr 6 engine (as opposed to the 4 banger consul, originally used by reliant) certainly the front end of the car.. bonnet line, headlamp recess and overriders look just like those of the later Israeli built Sabre.. perhaps there are images on 'google' to compare ?

after some more checking its NOT a Sabre.. but it does look familiar .. could be one of any number of 'kit car' bodes that were popular in late 1950s to early 60s.. Ive definately seen that frontal style before.. unable to place it however..
