SP250 sighting In Denbighshire

Post by ranald »

I was thrilled to see a green sp250 pass me in the opposite direct yesterday. It was heading from Ruthin towards Denbigh. Sorry to get excited but I don’t see many of our cars in this area! One of my neighbours reported he had also seen it.

Dont feel bad Ranald, I get the same excitement when on very rare occasions an SP is spotted in Aberystwyth, apart from mine that is, some times happens in the summer.

Three years ago I was on a coach going south down the coast and a couple in a red SP came up behind the coach, followed us for several miles and was very impressive as it past us.

My fellow passengers, all men, were green with envy when I said I have a similar car. Syd

Had a similar feeling when in Australia travelling North out of Melbourne in a hire car! I later found out it was our Keith Ashworth in his red SP250 and it was a shame not to meet up with him on that occasion - I was with another car group.
