Tap and Dies for Daimler 250
I need to buy a good Tap and Die set for my Daimler 250 v8, am I right in thinking UNF and UNC are the thread patters most used on the daimler??, anybody suggest a good ser

Hi, Yes UNC and UNF are the one's to go for.
I have owned and built four Darts and I would say you only need taps of both threads between 1/4in. and 1/2in.
I can never recall using a die, ever.
Obviously, if you need to clean out spark plug threads you will need a special tap.
There will always be exceptions to the rule.
