Could anyone recommend a carburettor tuning specialist in the west midlands area please.

Hi, I do not know of a specialist, but I have always found it quite easy to tune the S U,s.
Are you in Perton, if so perhaps I could help you.

I am assuming that you ask the question because you are not confident tuning them yourself. I have a copy of the SU tuning manual which describes in good detail how to tune the carbs fitted to the V8 2.5 & V8 250 saloons.

If it helps I could email you copies of the appropriate pages. It really isn't a difficult job.

And a balancer makes the job much easier.
