Can anyone tell me what is the correct seal to be used on the boot and bonnet lid of an SP250?
More importantly can anyone provide a picture or better still suggest a supplier.
Thanks in advance

Re: SP250 boot and bonnet seals
There is no continuous seal fitted to the bonnet aperture - although some owners have fitted one. This is bad practice since it inhibits the escape of hot air from the engine compartment. The bonnet should rest on six rubber buffers secured to the body lip with copper rivets. This picture shows the positions of these on one side of the car.
The boot aperture does have a continuous metal and rubber lip seal. This picture shows the section.
Buffers, rivets and the boot seal are available from Barry Thorne.
