If you click on the photo then zoom (hold ctrl then press + until it zooms to+ your preferred size. a tablet isn't good enough), it can be seen that the brackets are welded to the top and bottom rails of the radiator, the fan is then screwed to the brackets

Oops, Ian, my mistake. Now I see the general arrangement even on my tablet.
I blame the company that did it for making such a neat job.
I am curious why it is mounted off centre, unless it is to gain the maximum benefit from the stiffness of the top and bottom radiator members.

The Daimler/Jaguar Mk2 radiator core measures approx 17"x 17"..a 15" 'pusher' fan fits well .. I use the generic ones that mount via 'zip ties' through the core ..really simple to install.. I always add a thermostaic switch as well.. the common 'probe' for which also mounts through the radiator core and should be installed close to the top hose outlet..
as for radiators :- in my area a 'recore' with extra capacity (known as a 'desert' core) runs about $400- 600 ... a replacement alloy 'upgrade' radiator runs apporx $225 -250.. however.. one needs to source these form established daimler/jaguar soeclists as some of those on the internet do not fit .. its basically the same rad as used onJag Mk2, except the top hose outlet is on opposite side.. the radiators sold by 'XKs unlimited' have my approval..
