Hello,

I'm upgrading the sealed beams on my V8 saloon to halogen.

The intention is to fit 2x relays and I want to ask if anyone else has done this, fitting relays that is, and if so where exactly did you break in to the wiring loom ??

The optimum break appears to be between the main / dip beam floor switch and prior to the loom splitting to the nearside and offside headlamps.

Any advice will be very much appreciated.

I haven't fitted relays to my car but I have just fitted a fuse box for the lights, which I located on the n/s inner wing where the loom splits to n/s and o/s. It seemed like the most convenient and obvious place.
