Having replaced the window winder I now find that when the window is fully extended it overlaps the windscreen column. Any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum Jim, loads of information and help here but do join the DLOC if you have not already done so the discount you can get on insurance pays your fees and the magazine is as good as it gets.

With regard to your window problem, it sounds like you have either a door alignment problem or the chrome channel is out of line.

Check the door gap and re-set if need be on the hinges, if that is fine try adjusting the position of the chrome guide rail, it will need to be tweeked to incline more to the rear of the car. Hope that helps. Syd

Syd, many thanks for your reply. Having had a good look at the position of the door I believe slight re-alignment may be the answer. Thanks again, Jim
