The saloon engine removal is somewhat more complex due to height it needs to be lifted to clear the bodywork and the fact you cannot access the gearbox mountings from the cabin.

May I ask what bolts you used to secure the engine to the stand?

Did you use the existing gearbox mounting bolts?

I found that using two 2m long 1Tonne rated lifting straps were very useful. I tied a rope around to minimise any risk of the straps slipping as you will need to tilt the engine significantly.
