Size of crank nut

Post by Warsash 2 » Sun Aug 25, 2019 11:20 am

Hi
I am moving on with the technical college engine trying to assess it. Can anyone tell me the size of the big nut, no not me, on the front end of the crank.
Thanks in advance

Colin

Hello Colin,

It is 1.51" or 38.4mm....................... as such I would think a 1 1/2" AF will do the job.

Regards.

Hello Graham,

I will give Kevin Bacon a call and request the nod on this; if only as a matter of courtesy and make him aware of DLOC............... may prove useful in the future for members.

Regards.
