My wiper motor has a case of the tired's
Help it a little or take one wiper blade off and it is ok, if still a little slow,
Any suggestions, or is there a exploded view of the motor unit available

Take one of the screws out from the body of the motor and sniff it. If there is an acrid burnt smell, chances are the armature has overheated and is shorted in which case obtain a spare motor.
If it smells OK, it might just need brushes and a clean up of the commutator.
They are quite common and many parts interchangeable from other makes of vehicle of the ear.
