Dave Steve, thanks for the reply I ordered Revingtons tapered pin and roll pin.
Will report when fixed

DaveM, thanks for your advice. As I said on the phone Revingtons pin was undersize as well I have used my old pin which located in the cross shaft ok but I have backed this up with a couple of roll pins as well as seen in the pic you. I also show the reason for dismantling the gearbox in the first place.
