Servo removal

I have the engine out of my V8 and want to at least replace the vacuum pipes on the servo and possibly the servo as well after a proper inspection. Anyone any tips on the best way to remove the unit, I seem to be struggling with seized bolts, 60 years of under seal etc at the moment?

OK, so I have now managed to remove the old servo vacuum pipes and replace with new ones. It proved to be a good decision as the old ones both broke in the removal process but as a result I need to make sure the correct hose is connected to the the servo and manifold, any easy way to determine which of the two check valve connections is which? I think the upper, inner connection (as viewed when the res tank is mounted) is the one that goes to the servo and the lower more forward one goes to the manifold?
