SP 250 overriders - removal

Post by Martyn Ross »

C series SP250: I want to remove the front overriders from the bumper, but it's fiendishly difficult to get a spanner in to 'do the business'. Does anyone know if there is a knack to this simple task please?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi Martyn,

you'll find it much easier & simpler to take the bumper off the bumper iron first - otherwise you need double jointed fingers & spanners!

cheers,
John

Depending on the fit of your bumper to the iron and the fit of that to the car (and they do vary quite a bit from car to car), you might be able to remove the bolts with an offset ratchet spanner (always assuming you had access to one of the right size)....

The problem then would be if you wanted to refit the overriders ..... :(

John's suggestion is probably the most practical.
