JB you're right, that option was discussed as well because my discs are not beyond repair.
But a pair of new discs is substantially cheaper even with shipping than having the current ones machined over here!
On top I'm exempt of your VAT - so even cheaper. :lol:
A new disc in the UK is around £ 60, a well known and big supplier of classic car parts in Germany charges € 169 for the same thing.
I'm sure here in Switzerland it would be even more as there are more intermediaries plus the "Swiss surcharge".
Over here, all goods are pretty costly - with the exception of electronics - and if labour is involved even more.
That's why we earn those sky high salaries :twisted:
I'm not complaining in any way ...

Wow, your machining must be expensive; I paid £30 for the front pair to be skimmed. Another incentive was the extreme difficulty in getting hold of discs for the DQ, a problem not shared by the SP.
Great to hear you’ve got a solution to your problem though.
