Re: You might recognise the engine....
Nope - it's an interpretation of a car that perhaps should have been, but never was.

Re: You might recognise the engine....
• No door windows
• Part of dash opens with door
• Wind wings
• Bonnet opens back to front
• Tubular bonnet hinges
• R/H drive
It looks to be of late 1950's British/Jaguar inspiration, but I want to believe that line four of the ID tag says 'ALFA' ?
Line two starts with '12MA'
Line three possibly starts with 'DAIM'

Re: You might recognise the engine....
By googling various words like "cars forward opening hood v8" I came up with E.R.A. V8 but it wasn't that
I did wonder if part of the VIN was Hawk, but before searching on "Hawk" I decided to google the images in your initial post instead.
First image came up with AC Cobra, 2nd image was a direct hit LOL

Re: You might recognise the engine....
If Daimler had of agreed to sell engines to AC then it would of been a desirable concept.
That said the Cobra may not have been conceived. That said an AC 450 may of been developed.
This is what pipe dreams are made of.
