Hi , i foolishly stripped the crank pulley/damper and did not mark where the timing mark was in relation to the crank woodruf key ,could anyone please tell me the correct position ,Regards Terry.

There is a top dead centre mark, turn the engine by hand until I think no1 left is at the top,(screwdriver down spark plug hole) providing you are nearly there the tdc mark will always be near the top on the pulley.
Owner since the 70's, Genghis is slightly to my left.

the crank keyway is at about 1 o-clock at TDC and that then puts the TDC marker on the damper at 12 0-clock
