Daimler LQ2/20 info.

Post by JedFurneaux » Wed Jun 13, 2018 6:04 pm

Hi all.
Can anyone recommend any books etc that deal with the history, specifications, development and evaluation of the Daimler LQ models? I have bought several serious Daimler books by Smith, Nixon and others but the LQ models are not so much as mentioned in any of them. I know that only about 1,000 LQ2/20's were ever made but then again no pre war Daimler could exactly be described as a volume production model. I have an original illustrated spare parts catalogue and a photocopy of an original owner's instruction book but I cannot find anything else. My LQ2/20's car number is 38186, first registered in Dec. 1934.
