Churchill's Secret

Post by captain bobo »

I've just watched a recording of the docudrama "Churchill's Secret". At one point Churchill is driven rapidly to Chartwell in what looks like a DE36. I could read all of the registration plate except for possibly the first character; it was ?12 YUH.

Does this car belong to a forum member?
Best wishes, Dave B

It is actually a 1949 DE27, bodied by Windover and with registration number 112 YUH. It is located in the UK in good running condition, but I am not at liberty to reveal the name of the owner.

In one scene, I'm sure there is a fleeting glimpse of a parked Conquest.
