Correction, from the front bumper and bonnet it looks like a DB18 convertible.

The Daimler is a post-war DB18/2 DHC, dating from 1948/9. The easiest way to identify 'our' cars is that up until the Majestics, Daimlers always featured a 'double-curvature' scuttle.
