Keep coming across these bits and not knowing what they are for.

This pull switch next to the handbrake on the 54 conquest century. Doesnt have anything going to it. What should be connected to it

As it does not seem to have electical connections but does appear to have a connection for a tube - is it an after-market windscreen washer such as the type made by one of the accesssory firms like Tudor ????
