DB18 Oil change

Somethings I have learned from a few hours under the car
1. Just changing the oil would have been easy
2. The sump doesn't want to come out despite looking like there is plenty of room
3. Bolting the sump back was much harder than unbolting it
4. Mountain biking in North Wales (the original plan for the weekend) even in Storm Brian would have been less painful
5. Jobs underneath the car should be undertaken using a pit or a ramp.
6. Why did I not check on the forum before starting the job.
7. Changing the oil was easy.

Ah the luxury of a pit or ramp. The reality I suspect for most of us is grovelling underneath a car on axle stands.

Once you have them you don't know how you ever managed without them.
