Conquest cork rocker gasket

Post by Phillmore »

Does anyone know of a supplier that makes one of these that actually fits? Mine has at least a quarter of an inch too long!

That's where I got it from, with a note saying they stretch in storage! maybe they should be made a quarter of an inch too small in that case! ;)

Make your own!

You can buy sheet cork off Ebay quite cheaply - and you only have to stand your rocker cover on it and run round with a stanley knife. Job done, fit the gasket then go off to the A & E if you've cut yourself.

Thanks Stan yes that would be an option. I think I will put it in the oven and see if a bit of cooking will shrink it first.
