Daimler 15 hinged windscreen rubber

Post by bop »

I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could purchase some windscreen rubber for my 1935 Daimler 15 with a hinged windscreen.

As you can see the existing ones are toast.
thanks Bob

Hello Bob,

just ask Mark Bearman. Email: mark@daimlerrubberco.com

He is producing several different rubbers for Daimler 15's hinged windscreens. And when sending him pictures of the windscreen, he can send you pattern.

Regards
Rolf B.

As I completed the disassembly of the windscreen, I noticed different heights between the rubber on sides and the rubber on the bottom.

The smaller one on the left is from the sides and the wider one on the right is from the bottom. I assume they were originally the same and have aged differently.
