CONQUEST / LANCHESTER DROPHEAD DHC convertible
CONQUEST / LANCHESTER DROPHEAD DHC convertible
Has anyone experience of substituting hood rams or indeed pump etc from another vehicle? Or know of good recon rebuild firm that can adapt modern rams to fit?
Re: CONQUEST / LANCHESTER DROPHEAD DHC convertible
I was fortunate (and astounded) that the hydraulic system on my car worked when I purchased it 2 years ago. I have been told that the hydraulic system on these is the same as on some other Carbodies convertibles - this may help in sourcing parts. Are you interested in all 3 rams (including the one that pivots the back of the seat)? Do you have old parts to work with? If not, do you have dimensions for the cylinders? If you are desperate for dimensions, I can assess whether I can readily remove an interior panel to do some measurements.
