You mean you've kept 40 cars secret from your other half? What's your secret?

Can't help but admire your courage Marcus and envy the space you must have to store them.
I assume the big shed in the background holds them all? Syd

Hi Sydsmith,
It has some of them. When my other half got fed up of me having a couple of Majestic Majors on the drive she said she didn't care what I had as long as she didn't have to look at them. So I went and rented the biggest undercover space I could find. I won't pretend they are all running, and some are really only fit for spares. Many of the Majestics and Majors I ended up with were destined for the banger track. Those that were really rotten have been stripped for parts and those that are worth trying to restore are in one of two sheds. I have offered some of the better cars for restoration to people who didn't want to just smash them up and at prices close to what I paid for them but it seems these days not many people like to get their hands dirty. Maybe I should open a museum or just stick the word "barn find" in front of an ebay listing, that normally generates a silly sale price! I have tried to attached a picture of the casualty bay.

I suspect many of us would get to where you are Marcus given the space.
My wife, many years ago gave me a thing called a Round Tewit. A very large round beer mat type thing, with those words on which summed up my car collection "I will get it back on the road" "when I get round to it".
Some sadly had to go, I was never going to get round to it.
