Daimler DB18 Consort

Post by simonp »

Does anyone have knowledge of this DB18 coming up for sale on April 13th at the Bath and West Show auction.

http://www.charterhouse-auction.com/pre ... 000-11000/

A friend of mine (not currently a Daimler owner) is expressing interest.

I'm sure I've seen that car somewhere on here fairly recently. Where's Dave P when you need him?
Maybe on the old forum.

Dave sent me details of this auction by email I would like to know if anyone has seen it and can report on condition. Yes, Dave's advance notice of cars for sale and his knowledge is a great loss to the Forum.

Nick, Dave said he wont join us on this forum, a great shame, he needs encouragement as needed on here, as we know we were forced to abandon the old forum and he is lost to us.

John, when the old forum is accessible again will the e-mail links to members still work?

I Don't think so Nick as they had failed to function before we switched to this forum

There doesn't seem to be any way to contact Dave to give him some encouragement then. Does anyone know what Dave's objection to this forum is?

Apologies for hijacking this thread, we seem to have gone off on a tangent.
