Daimler 15 starter M35a

Post by dave70 »

Hello,

I was wondering does somebody know where to find a armature for the Lucas M35a starter?
My armature is complete gone.

Are there other possibilities with later models that are used in MG?

Best regards,

David

Hi Dave.
Try Classic and vintage dynamos at Shirebrook, Mansfield.
They reconditioned mine, an excellent job, they can rewind armatures and have a vast stock of all spares for these.

I would recommend them. I live local to them and have used them several times.
They do ship internationally but if you need any assistance let me know and I can visit them .

There are quite often armatures on e-bay. Another repairer is Broadway Electrical in Grays Essex, they have a website.
