Conquest hose

Post by Phillmore »

Does anyone know (or can measure) the length of rubber hose that joins the metal heater pipe to the water pump on a strict Conquest? I can see that mine isn't original and the clip fouls on the dynamo bracket.

It would be best to buy some pipe and just cut it to fit.

I've got some pipe but I could go shorter or longer to solve my problem which is why I was wondering what length the original was. I'm guessing shorter than is in there now. If I do that I will probably have to shorten both to bring the pipes into alignment. Yes she can be very strict!
