Old Bolts

Post by ron.rsp »

I looked at the old bolts I was about to use and thought new ones would be a better option.
Very helpful chap at Thomas Smith Fasteners in Wigan, he found 5/16 x 7/8 for me, he said
as it was a small thing it was not worth making an order for. He was happy to send out in
the post for me FOC and suggested that I may make a donation to a local charity.
Just brilliant that people can be so helpful and trusting!

Ron.

New nuts are better than old nuts too.

Oh Dear indeed Nick!!!

Well, after that, and in view of your new tag line, I offer you the motto of the French maritime marine;

"A l`eau, c`est l`heure!"

PS Will you ever get that old car finished?

Terry, I think you might be getting your Nicks mixed up!

Nick, very sincere apologies. I obviously have my Nicks in a twist!

I must resist the temptation to comment on Terry's twisted Nicks. One day I'll grow up, I just hope not too soon! :lol:

Speaking as the other 'twisted Nick' I must say my wife would totally sympathise with the originator of Nick De Ath's tag line. (Mrs De Ath?)
I started the restoration of this....

Cracking job, though, Nick! Obviously being a bit twisted hasn`t affected your skills.
