1951 Daimler Empress 2.5 Litre reg LAD 457

Post by Marcus » Thu Feb 07, 2019 1:20 am

HI,

Does anyone have any recollection of the above vehicle? Currently in a barn in Scotland with the roof removed. Looks to have been done professionally. Wondered if a club member had started a project to create a special then time took its toll....

What remains appears to be in good condition although I suspect the car is now only fit for spares as the cost of completing a conversion would be expensive unless you happen to be skilled in carpentry/metal bashing.

Where about in Scotland is the barn? Not many Empresses known in the West.

Gloucestershire registration, so it is a long way from it's original home. Syd

What sort of person would cut the roof off an Empress. Vandalism even though it may look professional.
