Highland DB18 gbox

Some of you will remember my DB18 gearbox trauma and many thanks to those who tried to help with advice and sympathy. The 2nd gear 'band' had snapped so nothing for it but to persuade my friend John M to extract the box from the car and it was shipped south for a refurb. Now back in the car - and working - though the selection is still a bit haphazard! Some tinkering needed. I've had the car since 1973 and this is the only really major job in its 70 year existence - even a precautionary engine swap 30 years ago was simpler (and cheaper!). I had to sacrifice a bottle of whisky to part pay for it. (id insert a pic of the bottle if I could work out how!) thomas and FNJ83
