I seem to remember that they are illegal to use in the UK unless you are disabled.
I use to have one on my A35 Pickup for driving tests etc and was told it was illegal years ago.

I'm not sure it would make parking easier. I think you would get better leverage with hands at quarter to three (or quarter past nine). Either way as Graham says parking will always be a serious work out! You might of course find it easier now you've got some oil in your steering box

It looks like they are illegal unless you have an exemption. So now there will only be one knob in the cockpit
