Head Lamp Help Please

Post by mickeytwonames »

The silvering om the 7.5" original reflector is knackered.
I tried a Chrome spray - what a joke - dull silver.
The re-silvering contact on this forum, sourced from past threads seems to have gone away.

Is there an alternative that one can fit - even without the tripod D fitting?

Rather be safe than stylish.

If I can swap them out I'll then send the originals off to be re-silvered.
Most grateful for any wise and sage counsel on this matter

Try this chap. Did a great job for me.

On the list, Keith Ardley. But there are several other contacts for you to try.

Contac Keith Ardley in Ely direct - phone number 01353 778493.

He re-silvered my headlamp reflectors and did a superb job, and his prices are very reasonable, as he charges by the inch of diameter.

Be careful not to go to anyone who sends them to him anyway and charges a mark-up!!

I have a T shirt that says "Open the pub door please Hal". Far more appropriate.
