Regency II on Facebook
Regency II on Facebook
If anyone subscribes to the Facebook group "Unloved Classic and Retro Cars" this was posted today:
Apparently been in the same place for many years. But is currently taxed and insured so not totally neglected.Re: Regency II on Facebook
Yes, UFK 435 , I've already saved the photo with a view to incorporating it in a header image in due course.
Re: Regency II on Facebook
It was previously posted on the same group about a year ago. Here's the picture from that post if you want to use that. Apparently it used to go for MOT each year until the MOT exemption came in.
Re: Regency II on Facebook
It's strange that the front over-riders are very rusty but the front bumper is not.
The tyres don't look completely flat so perhaps it was driveable fairly recently.

Re: Regency II on Facebook
It's a shame that something as rare as that is just sitting there deteriorating. The reality though now is that it is probably beyond reasonable saving and in a few years it will either be banger raced or simply crushed. The owner must have some reason for hanging on to it though, taxing it and insuring it every year. My heart would want to save it because of its rarity and because no one else would know what it is, my brain (fortunately) is wiser! Especially as I already have a Majestic Major to restore!
