I spotted this engine during a recent visit to the Bus Museum in Ryde, Isle of Wight.

Well spotted Ranald - you win two tickets to the Korean Washing Machine "V" Belt and Pulley Museum.

It is of course one of those superior engines with up-and-down cocoa tins wrapped around the pistons, as opposed to later type engines worked by a bar full of lumps, leaping sticks, see-saws and upside-down nails closed by bedsprings.

Stan.

P.S.
Why are two men in white coats coming down my drive??
