We have one beautifully mounted on a wooden base with two chromed tubes attaching it to that base and use it as a Perpetual Trophy for the Large Post War Daimlers and award it at each Annual Display Day.

Actually, to be slightly pedantic, it's a nave plate, not a hub cap. Hub caps fit on the hubs, nave plates on the wheels!

I'll give it to a pal who does arty things with metal. I have a few other dead bits he could incorporate - perhaps not the engine with a crack in the block tho.
