Just a point of clarification, the indicated measurement there is not the free camber height if you compare if to the specification for free camber. Free camber is measured from either the centre line of the mounting bushes or from the point below the bush (I forget which).

This article describes leaf spring measurements for an MGA and it clearly shows how to measure the free camber.

My simple measurement is just for comparison purposes and the free camber can easily be deduced by subtracting the diameter of the eye.
