Hi all
Anyone know what this is for, it’s in the bottom hose pipe work?
Also I took the rad out today (am going to get it cleaned inside) along with the cover over the heater (long story) but I’m going to need a new large rubber hose that joins the heater to the fan unit, anyone know where I might get one, I’ve looked at the normal seller and nothing?
Cheers
Graham

Re: What is this for?
It looks like a winter water heater.
Are you sure David Beales hasn’t got the rubber?
He has most rubbers for the Consort.

Hi Marcel
That makes sense there is a 2 pin plug under the dash which I thought was for accessories, it must be for the heater
I’ve been right through Davids website and cant find anything even remotely similar, it’s no use emailing him as he never responds. I may have to make something to fit out of some rubber.
Thanks
Graham

Re: What is this for?
I have it on good authority that he is relisting then today.
If you have emailed David what email address are you using as he closed the NTL one and is now using gmail.

Re: What is this for?
Aren’t the top hose and bottom hose the same diameter?
Re: What is this for?
It’s not the radiator hose I need (just changed these) it’s the rubber piece that connects the heater fan outlet to the heater box on the bulkhead, mine looked like it had melted and came off in bits so I have no pattern to go by

I emailed David as I’m going to need some valve stem seals at some point, can’t remember what email address I used though, someone on the forum sent it to me

Re: What is this for?
I take it this is the smiths heater And blower that sits on top of the bulkhead ?
It’s a large flexible pipe, about 200 diameter ?
It’s common on lots of British cars. Get a diameter, and then go on line. Think I used MGb.
