DB18 Reg number
My DB18 used to have reg EDR9 many years ago. I went on the DVLA site but needs current make of car which I do not have, does anyone know how I can check if used before I try to reclaim it back as all my service records going back to 1949 have the old number.
Re: DB18 Reg number
Hello John, it used to be possible, without paying any money, to check on the RAC car check website and find out what car a number was on. However, that is no longer possible.
However, a little bit of searching has come up with this site :
https://www.instantcarcheck.co.uk/?gcli ... GwoddzAIaA
and I've looked for EDR9 on it, and it's not on anything at present. I have looked up various numbers I have or had and it shows them all accurately so it must be a fairly direct tie in to the DVLA.
Anyone wanting to check a number had maybe get a shift on and look them all up now before this site changes to the "pay first" mode of operation that all the other sites have.

Thanks for that, tried but not shown up anywhere.
Re: DB18 Reg number
Thanks for that link. I just checked mine and it shows as a Daimler saloon. Which is correct, it's a Consort. A bit of a surprise as my car has been off the road so long I don't have to declare it SORN.

"Nick - do you think you will ever put that old car back together again?"

Thanks Darren, I wonder how helpful the DVLA would be to get back the original number?
