Some news from my project.

Engine and gearbox from Suzuki SJ 413, I don't know the commercial name in UK.
4 cylinders, 1300 cc, 66 BHP, 5 gears.
Engine and gearbox are alloy. The weight difference is amazing. The steering is very light like with power steering
