Hi Steve, here are the details for the Rubber extrusions.
Supplier:-

https://www.vintagecarparts.co.uk/

Windscreen Insert Rubber Flat Glazing Strip PT 518 A,B,C,& D

Eternal Sealing Extrusion :- RM
As far as I can remember, it’s RM3 that you need, Probably best to ask for samples to be sure.

Hope this helps ,

Cheers A’l :D :D :D :D

Hi Al,
Your feedback and comment are always helpful..

Whilst the progress on my Lanchester eleven is slow here is an up date:

1) Water pump refurbished and fitted
2) Carb refurbished and fitted
3) All leather seats re-upholstered
4) All bright work re-chromed
5) Wiring harness replaced
6) Plywood replaced with marine ply
7) Engine Painted, oil changed and ignition electric changed.
8) Wool Carpet and industrial sewing machine purchased
9) Managed to find a sunroof and all the fixings
10) New Tyre's and brakes
11) Dashboard replaced.
12) Dented o/s wing and running boards replaced

The next step for me is to get the fuel tank back in, floor down and start fitting the sunroof and headling. I have purchased all the material, just need the courage to start the process. I might try and pop up with Debbie and get some guidance from you before I start the interior.

:D

Without wishing to hijack the thread could you tell me where you had the water pump reconditioned?

Hi Sid, yes it’s tru that I have been responsible for overhauling Daimler and Lanchester Water Pumps, I will enquire if the chap who was responsible for the machining work is still working there.
He did hint some time ago, that he was thinking about retirement, if he has indeed retired, then I may not be able to take on any more overhauls I’m afraid.
Will get back to you as soon as I know more.

Hi Al,
could you provide me with some clarity regarding the inner seal:

Windscreen Insert Rubber Flat Glazing Strip PT 518 A,B,C,& D

There are all different thicknesses and widths and I'm not sure what to buy

Many thanks
