Well in answer to you question about being able to change a Tube on the side of the road, well yes if I still had those awful BF Goodrich Silvertown tyres fitted , but with either the Dunlop Gold Seals or the Excelsiors now fitted, then I would say, definitely No ! .
I have received a replacement Tube from my supplier
, so will keep it in the back of Lanchester , just in case ?.. ;)d

Hello all

It is an old thread, but I don't want to open an other one.
I have to change my tyres on my LA 10
I am looking at two brands, Excelsior and Waymaster

Somobody experienced recently these tyres ?

Hi, Excelsior was my first choice, but unfortunatly not available at this time in France. Only a few number of Waymaster on the market.
An other question about the patern.
In addition to the most seen patern

I would fit this:

https://www.blockleytyre.com/product/550-x-18

or this:

https://www.blockleytyre.com/product/550-x-18-a6c

I have the latter pattern in 650x17 size on my 24hp. Blockley tyres are extremely highly rated in UK, used by many in the pre-war racing fraternity, and I have been very pleased with them on my car.

Thanks for your input.
Infortunately, at this time in France only Waymaster 4.75 - 5.0 X 18 are availlable.
For the Michelin, the price is very hight for my use.
