1953 Lanchester 14

Post by Freighter »

Hi all
It's me again - 1953 Lanchester 14 - REG. OFJ127
Very nearly back on the road - But, as usual, once one part has been sourced, fitted and working, something else goes wrong.
I'm now looking for a ignition switch (integrated ignition and light switch) - I could bypass the current set-up, but would prefer an original if at all possible.

As usual any pointers in the right direction will be well received and fully appreciated.

It looks different, but possibly the interior works may be able to be adjusted to comply with the current one - I'll have to have a word with my tame electrical genius
Thanks for the pointer, much appreciated

I think the switch should be the same as the Austin Princess 4 litre but the knob itself is specific to the Lanchester if my Lucas reference book is correct.
