Wiring the ignition switch on a LD10

Post by Sid »

I've recently rewired my car, a 1951 model, using a wiring diagram in the "Trader" Service Data No. 138 for a 1946-7 model. Not much seems to have changed except the ignition switch in the diagram is a PLC2 and mine is a PLC6. Not a huge problem until you come to wire up from D on the control box to the ignition warning light via D on the ignition switch. There isn't one! So at the moment, the ignition warning light only comes on if the engine is idling, but not when you turn the ignition on, and presumably won't come on if the fan belt breaks. If anyone has a PLC6 switch can you tell where this wire should go?
Cheers
Sid
