LA10 Torque settings

Post by TailGunSam »

Hi all!

Does anyone have correct torque setting for the cylinder block for the 1200cc LA10 engine. My manual does not have any info on them!

Any help much appreciated!

Sam

Hi Sam, 40 / 45 Lbs Ft . Start at the Centre nearest to the Rocker Shaft, then gradually work outwards from centre on O/side of head , tightening down each Head Nut gradually until each Nut is torqued down to the figure recommended.

Cheers A'l :) :) :)

Don’t forget to re torque the head when the engine has had a run as you will get some settlement of the head gasket.
