LA14 restoration work is now completed

Post by alex_gray255 »

My LA14 is now fully restored up and working. Just got to sort out the paperwork for getting it road legal and then she's good to go.

Still not sure if I will be using her or putting her in storage. No shows this year and the roads around me are mostly country/farm tracks so not good for a classic car (or "normal" car).

Will probably use her for a while and then put her into active storage.

Thanks!

I will take some pics of her running and driving etc. & post them, but will only do that when she's on the road.

Cool. I think I'm getting the hang of it now. The gearing needs jiggling or going from pre-selector 3,2,1,2 seems to solve the majority of the issues I was having with it yesterday.

Much more... different... to drive than some of my other classics, but starting to get used to it.

Lots of concentration needed, but fun.

Reversing is a bit of a challenge - seems to be all or nothing almost... Just need to learn that as well...
